Winery Tours and Rentals Coordinator
The full-time position requires weekend work, both Saturdays and Sundays. Responsible for running our rentals and tours program on a full-time basis. Must be motivated, self-starting, organized, enthusiastic, with excellent verbal and writing skills. Incumbent will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of scheduling, coordinating and managing the rental of our facilities. Incumbent will also schedule and conduct group and individual tours. Incumbent will also serve as a tasting room associate, waiting on customers as needed. A minimum of four years’ experience or training in direct customer service plus two years’ experience in the hospitality industry is required. This incumbent must bring to the job knowledge and appreciation of wines, strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Must also have skills for executing an evolving successful rental and tour program, and must be able to assist in meeting sales and marketing goals. Additionally, this position will be responsible for analyzing sales, proposing new programs, and managing the facilities in support of rental and tour initiatives. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook plus graphics programs and basic POS systems required. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours a day.
Full Time and Part-Time Tasting Room Sales Associates
Adams County Winery is seeking friendly and motivated customer-oriented people to work in our tasting room. All positions require the ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods. Tasting Room Sales Associates must be at least 18 years old. Tasting Room staff greet customers, provide information, listen, smile, pour wine samples for customers, operate the cash register, give tours and do whatever it takes to give customers an outstanding winery experience. Must be willing to learn and be able to adapt to new situations. Weekend work is required.
