FESTIVALS May 15-18, 2008 Celebrate bluegrass music and fine wine at this festival. Sample delicious food and fine wine, watch live music entertainment, and more. This festival will be held at the Granite Hill Campground, in Gettysburg.
May 17 & 18, 2008 Fire & Ice Wine and Music Festival Join us at the Fredericksburg Fireman's Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pennsylvania's finest wines will be available for tasting and purchase. There will be plenty of entertainment with live bands on both days, craft vendors and food. Admission Prices are as follows: $20 at the gate, $18 in advance, $16 for groups of ten or more, per ticket, when purchased together, $10 for non drinkers and designated driver. Age 21 and over only. Proper photo I.D. must be presented at the gate for all admissions, no exceptions.
May 24-25, 2008 Flavor Fest at Mt. Hope Estate & Winery This wine festival, held on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, kicks off the summer season with wonderful wines and fantastic foods. Enjoy the cooking demos, cook-offs spotlighting regional chefs, cooking with wine classes and much more. The festival is held from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. With so much to do, see and taste, this is a can't miss festival!
June 7, 2008 Shippensburg Art & Wine Festival Come to Shippensburg University for fine wine, delicious food and entertainment. This festival is located on the Earl Street Triangle of the university campus and will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Relax with musical entertainment, crafts and artwork, special activities, and wine tasting. We look forward to seeing you!
June 21-22, 2008 This is one of the best wine festivals to attend. Each day from Noon to 6 p.m. you can listen to great music at any of the three stages set-up at the festival. Learn new and interesting things about wine in one of the festival's educational seminars. Tempt your taste-buds with a variety of delicious foods, and, of course, dive into the world of PA wines - tasting up to 30 wineries' wine selection.
August 16, 2008 SummerFest at Benigna's Creek Vineyard Benigna's Creek Vineyard in Klingerstown, PA has been successfully having SummerFest at their winery for years. From 11a.m. to 6 p.m., you can enjoy the beauty of summer and the tastes of PA wineries. Enjoy wine and food seminars, musical entertainment, and craft exhibits. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 12, 2008 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
September 6 & 7, 2008 Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival This is an experience for all who love fabulous wine, accompanied by great live music! Come discover the wines, people, and history that make a visit to Gettysburg such an enjoyable experience! Don't forget to watch the Gourmet Live! Cooking Demonstrations or shop among all the different artists. You can take home gifts, goodies, and wine for all your friends and family to enjoy! October 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2008 Join us for a festival you’ll never forget! This event includes 300+ arts and crafts vendors, barbecue and pit beef, wine tastings and more. Also, free live entertainment including puppet shows and tractor square dancing. The Apple Harvest Festival has so much to do, you won’t want to miss it!
November 22 & 23, 2008 Eat, drink and be merry! Join us for a day of food and fun at the York Food & Beverage Show on November 22 at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and November 23 from noon to 5 p.m. Sample food and wine while you do some holiday shopping and are entertained by celebrity chefs on stage.
The Adams County Winery is located in Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, just 15 minutes west of the Gettysburg National Monument, the site of Pickett's Charge, the site of the most famous Civil War battle.
