Adams County Winery has been making wine for over 35 years. During that time there have been many changes, and many different styles of wine have come and gone.

Below is a list of wines that are no longer produced. Several of them have simply been changed slightly and re-named, so we made a list similar wines for you to try.

Adams Apple - This lightly spiced, semi-sweet wine is great on a hot day over ice! TRY: Scrapple (Sweetly-spiced Cranberry Apple).

Appalachian Sunset - An old-fashioned, semi-sweet Concord blend. TRY: Rebel Red or The Engagement

Baco Noir – A dry red. TRY: Turning Point or Blaufrankisch.

Baron’s Blush – A semi-sweet blush wine. TRY: The Engagement or a little sweeter, Rusty’s Red.

Bank Barn Blush - This unique blend is sweet, but tart, perfectly complementing a wide variety of meals. TRY: The Engagement or Rusty’s Red.

Berry Berry Blues - A very limited release of our first crop of blueberries. TRY: Yankee Blue.

Black Magic - 100% local blackberry. TRY: Yankee Blue or any other fruit wine.

Blaufrankisch - Our estate Blaufrankisch is an intense fruit-driven red wine with aromas of blueberry and black pepper. Very limited edition. Blaufrankisch will be back! TRY: Red Red Wine, Turning Point.

Blushing Apple – Apple wine. TRY: Scrapple (Sweetly-spiced Cranberry Apple).

Chablis – White, neither dry nor sweet. TRY: Stray Cat Strut (coming soon)

Chambourcin – A dry red wine. TRY: Turning Point or Blaufrankisch (coming soon).

Cherry - Wonderful with chocolate, this semi-sweet wine sells out quickly. TRY: Cherese Masquerade (a blend of cherry and Cabernet Sauvignon)

Cayuga – A fruity white wine, neither sweet nor try. TRY: The new Stray Cat Strut (coming soon)

D’vine Ice - Vidal Ice Wine like you've never had it before! TRY: Our new D’Vine wine, coming Spring of 2012!

Evening Embers - Oak-aged blend of Cab Franc and Chambourcin. A limited release of this premium wine. TRY: Red, Red Wine or Blaufrankisch (coming soon)

Fireside Memories - A slightly effervescent, semi-sweet blush, perfect by the glass or with any meal. TRY: The Engagement.

Harvest Red - A dry red blend, pleasingly crisp. TRY: Turning Point

John's Old Barrel Chardonnay - An exquisite, smooth, smoky Chardonnay. A special one-time release! Only 200 bottles made! TRY: Chardonnay

Irish Kiss – Irish Kiss was a green colored version of Tears of Gettysburg, made for St. Patrick’s Day. TRY: Tears of Gettysburg

Majestic – Neither dry nor sweet, perfect for any occasion. TRY: The New Stray Cat Strut (coming soon)

Native Nittnay – Apple TRY: Scrapple (Sweetly-spiced Cranberry Apple)

NightFall -- A limited release, this dry red wine is our 2004 Cabernet Franc. TRY: Red, Red Wine

Orrtanna Valley Gold – a semi-sweet white wine. TRY: President’s Choice or Tears of Gettysburg.

Peach - A delicate and flavorful wine created with peaches from a local orchard. TRY: Any of our current fruit wines, or our peach slushies in the summer!

Pinot Noir – a dry red wine. TRY: Seducente.

Red Shadows - The Vintner's favorite. Dry red wine, including a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chambourcin. TRY: Turning Point or Red, Red Wine.

Reflections - Our special holiday blend of apple wine infused with cranberries & spices. TRY: Scrapple (Sweetly-spiced Cranberry Apple)

Rhedd’s Lady - The belle of the ball. A delicious, sweet blush wine. Great sipping wine. TRY: Rusty’s Red.

Rosato –A semi-dry red wine; try Turning Point.

Ruby Red - A light, fruity wine; neither sweet nor dry. A perfect crowd-pleaser! TRY: The Engagement or, a little sweeter, Rusty’s Red.

Semi-Dry Vidal – A crisp, semi-dry white wine. TRY: Traveller

South Mountain Blush – A semi-sweet blush. TRY: The Engagement or the New Stray Cat Strut (coming soon).

South Mountain Mist - A crisp, semi-dry wine made with Adams County pears. TRY: Redleg Riesling.

Seducente - An Estate bottled, medium-bodied, dry red wine. Excellent with lamb or your favorite cut of red meat. TRY: Blaufrankisch (coming soon), Turning Point.

Serendipity - A deliciously sweet strawberry wine. TRY: Any of our current fruit wines.

Sweet Catawba - Just the Catawba grape -- a tasty, sweet white wine. TRY: Tears of Gettysburg or, just a pinch less sweet, our New Stray Cat Strut (coming soon).

Sweet Scarlet – A sweet red blend. TRY: Rusty’s Red.

Wisp O’ the Vine - Neither sweet nor dry, a sherry-like flavor and aroma. TRY: Majestic , Stray Cat Strut (coming soon).
